Muglin-Pokhara road expansion: Nine kilometers blacktopped in eastern section

DAMAULI, DECEMBER 8

The eastern part of the Muglin-Pokhara road expansion project has witnessed 42 percent progress. The road expansion project is in implementation to widen the Prithvi Highway to four lane.

The progress has been made in the road section stretching from Anbukhaireni to Jamune of Tanahun.

Project’s eastern section Engineer Bishnu Prasad Pandey informed that the task of blacktopping has started along the expanded section of the road. He shared that one way blacktopping has been so far done on nine kilometers section of the 41.5-km stretch.

Likewise, the task of blacktopping additional five kilometers road has started since Wednesday.

The blacktopping of the road from Anbukhaireni rural municipality-3, Gaunpalika Chowk to Markichowk has started, he shared.

Earlier, blacktopping of 3.5 kilometers road section from Anbukhaireni-1 Satrashaya to Markichowk was completed.

According to the project source, the task of blacktopping has advanced in a way to complete it within next 15 days.
